Negombo to Sigiriya - Cultural Triangle & Village Immersion

Scenic drive northeast into the Cultural Triangle. Afternoon immersive village experience – catamaran ride across the village tank, bullock cart through paddy fields and a home-cooked Sri Lankan lunch. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa - Rock Fortress & Medieval Capital by Bicycle

Early morning climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afternoon transfer to Polonnaruwa Ancient City – the medieval royal capital with colossal Buddha statues, best explored by bicycle. Return to Sigiriya. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya to Anuradhapura - Sacred City Full Day

Full-day excursion to Anuradhapura – Sri Lanka’s first great royal capital. Guided exploration of the Sacred City: the Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, the vast Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba, Abhayagiri Monastery complex and ancient irrigation reservoirs. Return to Sigiriya. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Drive south toward Kandy through the Matale spice country with a garden stop. Arrive in Kandy. Evening guided visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Overnight in Kandy.

Morning at the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. Afternoon at leisure – Kandy market, the old town or the lakeside. Optional gem workshop visit. Overnight in Kandy.

Scenic drive south through the dry-zone transition landscape toward Yala. The landscape shifts from highland green to dry scrub as you approach the wildlife country. Overnight near Yala.

Morning private jeep safari in Yala National Park – the world’s highest-density leopard habitat with elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles and exceptional birdlife. Continue southwest to Galle. Guided walk through the Fort ramparts. Overnight in Galle.

Galle to South Coast - Fort Morning & Coastal Transfer

Relaxed morning in Galle Fort. Afternoon transfer along the coast to a quieter south coast beach destination. Sundowners by the Indian Ocean. Overnight on the south coast (Hikkaduwa / Unawatuna / Mirissa area).

South Coast to Colombo - Ocean Day & Departure

Full leisure day by the ocean. Optional whale watching from Mirissa (November to April) or a glass-bottom boat excursion. Drive to Colombo via the Southern Expressway. Airport transfer and departure.
